The Blood Bank department at Park Hospital, Panipat, is one of the most essential and widely used units in the hospital, providing a continuous, reliable supply of safe blood and blood products to patients across the region. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the department ensures that no patient is left without timely access to this critical resource.

The unit maintains a comprehensive inventory of blood components, including Packed Red Blood Cells (PRBCs), Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP), Random Donor Platelets (RDP), and Single Donor Platelets (SDP). Every unit of blood is collected from thoroughly screened donors and undergoes rigorous testing before being cleared for transfusion, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

The Blood Bank works in close coordination with departments such as cardiothoracic surgery, oncology, trauma care, emergency medicine, and the Intensive Care Unit, all of which depend on prompt blood availability for life-saving interventions. With 175 beds, including 70 critical care beds, the hospital sees a significant and diverse patient load, making the Blood Bank's role all the more indispensable.
