Nose Conditions

ENT professionals diagnose and treat problems with the nose, sinuses, and nasal cavity. These problems can impair breathing, produce a loss of scent, and alter one's physical appearance.

Swollen Adenoids: Frequent throat infections can cause adenoids to swell. Adenoids that are enlarged can cause breathing difficulties and clog the eustachian tubes, which link the middle ear to the back of the nose.

Sinusitis: Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses that causes a blocked nose, thick nasal mucus, and facial discomfort.

Nasal Airway Obstruction: A condition in which airflow into and out of the nose is obstructed, affecting one or both nasal passages. It is caused by either nasal tissue enlargement or an anatomical obstruction, resulting in a constriction of the nasal cavity and a congested sensation in the nasal channel.
