The Department of Critical Care at Park Hospitals, Agra, is the highest level of acute medical intervention within our hospital, providing round-the-clock, life-saving care to patients with the most severe and complex medical and surgical emergencies. Our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a sanctuary of precision medicine, advanced technology, and unwavering vigilance, where every moment counts and every decision matters.
Our team of dedicated anesthetists, intensivists, respiratory physicians & multi disciplinary consultants, physiotherapists, critical care nurses, and allied health professionals operates as a cohesive, multidisciplinary unit, delivering seamless and coordinated care for patients with multi-organ dysfunction, sepsis, severe trauma, all gastro intestinal emergencies, renal failure, liver failure, post-operative complications, acute respiratory failure, haemodynamic instability, neurological emergencies, and life-threatening poisoning or overdose.
In Agra, the only ICU with 24x7 availability of dedicated anesthetists providing best of care to critical patients. Our ICU is continuously supported by cardiac services provided by CCU. The infrastructure encompasses fully monitored individual patient bays, advanced mechanical ventilators, continuous cardiac monitoring, intra-arterial and central venous pressure monitoring, renal replacement therapy, bedside bronchoscopy, warmer blankets, airbeds, DVT Pumps, and point-of-care ultrasonography. Dedicated medical and surgical ICUs ensure specialized care pathways for diverse patient populations.
