Park Hospital provides 24x7 intensive care in its Critical Care Unit, with a team of experts handling all ICU cases closely, supported by modern life-support equipment, under the constant monitoring of a Most Responsible Physician (MRP) and supervised by a Medical Director. Healthcare professionals are highly trained to handle accidental, respiratory, cardiovascular, and organ failure in patients.
The department encompasses multiple specialized units, including the Medical ICU for conditions such as acute kidney disease, respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and drug intoxication; a Surgical ICU for post-operative monitoring and life support; a Paediatric ICU (PICU) for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents; and a NICU providing advanced care for newborns with complex clinical scenarios.
The critical care infrastructure includes advanced ventilators, high-end critical monitoring systems, isolated cubicles, automated patient-care beds, and a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio at all times, ensuring every critically ill patient receives undivided, expert attention.
