Monkeypox Disease: Overview of Symptoms, Treatments, Causes of Outbreak

  • Analgesics and fever-reducing medications. There are anti-inflammatory medications that can help you feel better. Ibuprofen (Advil), Motrin, and Tylenol all fall into this category.

  • It has been observed in some cases that bathing in oatmeal solution can relieve skin rashes with colloidal.

  • Anyone affected should be kept away from others. 

  • Avoid socializing until all of your wounds have healed and scabbed over.

  • Cover a single lesion or a small area with a bandage. Limit the spread to others and the environment by using gauze or bandages.

  • Rest at home and avoid contact with others when you're unwell. 

  • Use a mask to protect your face and drink lots of fluids.

Cause of Monkeypox

It is spread when you contact an infected animal or person; you can contract monkeypox. Animal-to-human transmission occurs when an infected animal's blood, body fluids, or pox lesions touch a person's skin (sores).
